Russian-Polish commercial auto transport “permit war” (which is fortunately now over) in February 2016 considerably complicated life for all transport companies.

Due to the fact that Russian commercial trucks could not pass through Poland the freight rates jumped significantly in accordance with the market laws. A lot of transport companies ceased operation for the period of the conflict and customers delayed shipping or, if that was possible, decided to go with the railway or marine transport out of Europe.
